Chess Game: Scott-Pullin

by on 20/10/09 at 8:56 am

This is my last round game of the 3rd Coast G/60 Challenge. There were three players going into the last round with 2.5 points: Steve Szpisjak(2217), Isaac Hagerling(2175), and myself(1982). Steve and Isaac played each other and drew. I was paired against the highest player with 2.0 points, Gene Scott(2040). Upon winning, I took clear first place in the tournament and found out online a few hours later that my rating had broken 2000 making me a USCF Expert.
