Georgian Mikheil Mchedlishvili pipped Vladimir Georgiev of Macedonia in the tie-break after both grandmasters ended with 7.5 points at the end of the 10th and final round of the Ravana Challenge Chess Championship that concluded on September 19, 2009 at the Ceylon Continental Hotel.
